I am so glad you stopped by today! Life can be busy.
Grab a cup of coffee, or a cuppa tea, if you prefer. Settle in to a comfy spot. You have just given yourself permission to relax for a few minutes of self-care. Just a few minutes. I promise.
Now that you are settled, let me ask you a question. Have you ever, or have you recently, experienced a painful or traumatic life event?
It could be anything which caused you great anguish or interrupted the life you thought you had planned. A relationship, an illness, an unwanted loss. The list is endless and something only you can identify for yourself.
Perhaps there were multiple events–a stockpile of sorts. The compound affect has left you feeling afflicted long after the initial impact. I understand.
Suffering is a struggle taking up space in the cracks of our soul. We endure and labor beneath its weight, all while attempting to function in the norms of life.
Some of you may have years of healing work under your belt already. You have sought counseling, participated in support groups, completed workbooks, took up exercise or even tried aromatherapy. In fact, your mantra at this stage of life may even be, I have tried everything! I believe you.
Maybe your season of enduring is happening right now. There is a sense of urgency. Your nerves are worn thin. You are exhausted from the ceaseless task of sweeping up invisible debris piles left behind. You feel turned upside down and right-side out from chaos, pain and overall lack of peace. The bottom line is, you just feel fractured, desperate and helpless. I’ve been there too.
But, what if there were new messages you haven’t heard yet or a perspective which could help you process things in a different way? Would you be willing to give it a go?
